Privacy Policy
This policy covers raycastlab.com — the website you are reading. The Arrow Away game is a separate product with its own policy, linked at the bottom of this page.
Last updated:
1.The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads and has no accounts or forms. There is nothing to opt into and nothing to opt out of.
The only personal data involved is what any web server unavoidably receives when your browser asks it for a page, plus whatever you choose to write to us in an email.
2.Who is responsible
RayCastLab operates this website and decides how the data described here is handled — in data protection terms, the controller.
You can reach us at info@raycastlab.com for anything in this policy.
3.What the server records
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel's servers write a short log entry for each request so that pages can be delivered and abuse can be detected. An entry can contain:
- your IP address
- the address of the page you requested
- your browser and operating system as reported by your browser (the user agent)
- the date and time of the request
We do not use these logs to build a profile of you, we do not combine them with anything else, and we do not sell or share them. Vercel processes them on our behalf under its own data processing terms.
4.No third-party requests
Pages on this site load nothing from other companies. The Poppins typeface is compiled into the site and served from our own domain, so your browser never contacts Google Fonts. There are no tracking pixels, no embedded videos, no social media widgets, no chat bubbles and no content delivery networks other than the host itself.
In practice this means visiting a page here reveals your IP address to our host and to no one else.
5.If you write to us
When you send an email to info@raycastlab.com, we receive your address, your message and anything you attach. We use it only to answer you, and we keep the message for as long as the matter is open plus a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up.
Our mailbox is hosted by an email provider, which stores the message in the ordinary course of delivering it.
6.Why we are allowed to do this, and for how long
Under the GDPR, both cases rest on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): running a website securely, and replying to someone who contacted us. Neither purpose requires consent, because neither goes beyond what you would reasonably expect when you load a page or send an email.
Server logs are kept only as long as our host retains them for operational and security purposes, which is a matter of days to weeks. Email is kept as described above.
7.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- receive it in a portable format
Write to info@raycastlab.com and we will answer within one month. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you may also complain to your data protection authority; if you are in Türkiye, Article 11 of the KVKK gives you equivalent rights and you may apply to the KVKK.
Be aware that for a plain visit we usually cannot identify you from a log entry alone, so we may need more detail from you before we can act on a request — and we will never ask for more personal data than the request itself requires.
8.Children
This website is aimed at a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it.
9.The game is covered separately
Arrow Away runs on your phone, shows ads and offers a purchase, so it involves data this website does not. Everything about the game — what stays on your device, what Google receives, and what you can control — is set out in the Arrow Away privacy policy.
10.Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not keep a public archive of earlier versions; if you need one, ask us.
